Super producer Sean “Diddy” Combs is in the midst of a high-profile investigation as federal agents intercepted his plane and conducted raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami, on Monday.

Video footage shows the rapper, 54, surrounded by a team of law enforcement officials at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.

Combs, in a white T-shirt and blue pants, stood with his entourage as federal agents engaged in a conversation with him. The encounter reportedly occurred moments before the arrest of Brendan Paul, 25, an acquaintance of Combs, who was apprehended and booked on drug charges. Authorities discovered drugs suspected to be cocaine and marijuana edibles in Paul’s possession, but these substances have not been linked to Combs. Paul was subsequently released on a $2,500 bond.

Earlier that day, law enforcement officers from Los Angeles and Miami executed the seizure of Combs’ phones and computers as part of an ongoing federal investigation into sex trafficking. After the airport incident, Combs was observed distressed outside the Customs office.

Here is what is currently known about the allegations against Combs.

Homeland Security conducted raids on Combs’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami to secure devices such as phones and computers. Authorities suspect a possible connection to an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

Paul, a music producer and basketball player, was taken into custody at a Miami airport while he attempted to board Diddy’s private jet. Paul faces drug charges and has been implicated as a “drug mule” for Combs in a federal lawsuit.

Law enforcement sources have indicated that similar raids will take place in New York and Chicago.

In response to the raids, Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, criticized the use of what he deemed a “military-level force” in the search of the properties owned by the hitmaker of “I’ll Be Missing You.” Dyer characterized the allegations of sex trafficking as a “witch hunt.”

Combs has not been arrested or charged thus far. His attorney confirmed that he cooperated with the authorities, and his travel has not been restricted. The raids and ongoing investigation are part of the work conducted by the Homeland Security Investigations Human Trafficking Task Force, acting upon a search warrant issued by the Southern District of New York.

On Tuesday, the rapper seemed to have disappeared along with his private jet.
