On Thursday, Marvel’s beloved Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson and her comedian partner, Colin Jost, showcased their impeccable red carpet style at the American Museum of Natural History’s 2023 Museum Gala.

The couple exuded elegance in monochrome outfits, Johansson in a long white coat over her black gown, Jost in a classic black tuxedo.

Johansson and Jost, who officially married in 2020, began to date in 2017. They first met in 2006 when Johansson served as a host for a Saturday Night Live episode, where Jost was a writer at the time.

In August 2021, the couple welcomed the arrival of their baby boy Cosmo. Johansson is also a mother to her 9-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Romain Dauriac.

The gala saw the attendance of various notable personalities, such as Hilaria and Alec Baldwin, Mikey Day and Tina Fey.

The AMNH website says, “[The Gala] invites us all to celebrate and support the Museum’s continuing efforts to expand the boundaries of human knowledge and foster science literacy in learners of all ages.”

The statement continues, “On this special evening we welcome guests to enjoy the Museum’s legendary halls in all their splendor—with good friends, an exquisite dinner, and highly anticipated musical entertainment.”

In 2013, Johansson talked exclusively with uInterview about her film Don Jon, in which the notoriously private actress had to shoot some steamy love scenes with costar Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

“The scenes are really choreographed, like pretty heavily choreographed, because it’s important how Barbara uses her body and how these two characters connect and then they kind of disconnect and the sort of dance between them,” Johansson told uInterview. “You got to kind of, you got to commit to it. After the first couple of takes, it was like, ‘Okay, this is going to be good, I think. We got something here. We’ve got something here.’ Just ignore the 70 crew members eating pastrami sandwiches standing around you and try to stay in the moment, keep it fresh.”
