Ryan Reynolds, who co-owns Wrexham Association Football Club with Rob McElhenney, revealed that he has had to repeatedly ask one of their star players, Ollie Palmer, to put a shirt on when speaking to his gorgeous wife, Blake Lively.
During an appearance on the Fearless in Devotion podcast, the Deadpool star joked that the Wrexham player has a tendency to greet Lively shirtless. “Every time we’ve come as a family and stuff, we’ll walk down to the locker room, and Ollie’s the first guy that walks out of that dressing room completely shirtless to have a conversation with my wife,” Reynolds told the podcast hosts.

“I’m always like, ‘Ollie, put a f–king shirt on and come back out like a gentleman.'” Apart from the shirtless run-ins with his wife, both Reynolds and McElhenney have grown close to Palmer, who Reynolds later claimed to be “one of the best guys we know.”
The Welsh football club is still celebrating becoming National League champions and being promoted to League Two, the fourth and lowest division of the English Football League, for next season. To celebrate their team’s victory, the Hollywood duo treated the players to an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas. Reynolds and McElhenney are incredibly passionate about their football team and have been described as “so kind” and “so invested.”
“I’ve never had owners that are this passionate and this involved with the football club, with the community, and what they’re doing for everyone,” Palmer told People. “When you’ve got owners on top like them, you want to run through more bricks for them.”
Darcy continued, “[such 'Historic tension'] has resulted in headaches for the networks’ bosses.
