‘The Office’ Stars Celebrate Ten-Year Anniversary Of Series Finale

The Office stars have taken to social media to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of their series finale with emotional statements and behind-the-scenes photos this week.

Jenna Fischer, who played receptionist-turned-salesman-turned-office manager Pam Beesly, shared a behind-the-scenes photo of one of her last scenes in the finale episode, writing “The Office Series Finale aired 10 years ago today. There’s a lot of beauty in ordinary things. Isn’t that kind of the point? Final Pam talking head ❤️.”

Brian Baumgartner, who played Kevin Malone, also shared a photo taken during one of Fischer’s final talking head interviews, which showed the cast peering through a window. “10 years ago today The Office series finale aired and we all said goodbye to Dunder Mifflin,” Baumgartner wrote.

Fischer has remained an active member of The Office fandom, continuously expressing her love for the show on the podcast Office Ladies, where she and her co-host/co-star Angela Kinsey, who played Angela Martin, thoroughly discuss the show and share behind-the-scenes stories with their fans.

“Ten years ago today Phyllis carried Angela down the aisle to marry her love, Dwight. ❤️ #theofficefinale,” Kinsey wrote in an Instagram post featuring behind-the-scenes photos of her co-star Phyllis Smith, who played Phyllis Vance.

Rainn Wilson, who played fan-favorite Dwight Schrute, was the first to celebrate the ten-year anniversary in March. Sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos with his three million followers,

Wilson captioned the post with an emotional lengthy statement expressing his gratitude for the show. “10 years ago today we wrapped the final episode of The Office. So grateful for that 9 year chapter of my life. Filled with laughter and camaraderie with a radiant and brilliant group of goofballs!” Wilson wrote. “I’m forever blessed by my association with a show that has withstood the test of time and brought so much joy to so many over the years. Also, don’t be an idiot.”

Earning over 500,000 likes, Wilson shared an additional post two days later, writing, “Since the last post was an INSTA-HIT, here’s some more video from the last two days of shooting The Office. 10 years ago this week! The final episode.”

“And a taste of the love & shenanigans behind the scenes of what I believe was our final scene – the cast exit out of Dunder Mifflin,” Wilson continued. “Not to mention, our loyal fans outside the gates and my love letter to our office plant. Thanks for all the love and comedy folks!”

The Instagram posts were a hit, with fans and castmates taking to the comments section to express their love for the show and their castmates.

“Rainn!! I’m tearing up! I had never seen that video. 😭❤️ How lucky were we?? It was the best!” Kinsey commented while Kate Flannery, who portrayed Meredith Palmer, wrote “Rainn! I have real love in my heart for you and all our Office family. What a gift! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

The Office aired on NBC from March 24, 2005, to May 16, 2013.
