Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are “down” for a sequel to the 1997 classic Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion.

Sorvino, who spoke to Us Weekly on June 11 at the Jett premiere in New York City, revealed she and Kudrow are open to reprising their roles for a follow-up.

“We always hope so,” said Sorvino, who noted that the movie’s writer and producer Robin Schiff is also onboard.

“[We] are all down for it. It’s just [up to] the powers that be,” the Romy actress continued, adding that she and Kudrow are still good friends and often have lunch together.

Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion followed a pair of ditzy blonde best friends who hit the road for their 10-year high school reunion. The movie — which acquired the famous tagline “The blonde leading the blonde” — examines friendship, bullies and the damage of high school.

Will fans get to see Romy White and Michele Weinberger 20 years after they stole the show in their platform heels and feather-trimmed mini dresses?

They’ll just have to wait and see.
