Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did not attend his 70th birthday party fundraiser gala after celebrity guests who were billed as attendees stated that they never agreed to go.

Martin Sheen, Dionne Warwick, Mike Tyson and Andrea Bocelli were listed as attendees but later said they never agreed to attend the fundraiser.

The fundraiser supporting Kennedy’s presidential campaign was hosted by the super PAC American Values 2024 and took place in Indian Wells, California, on January 4.

On December 28, 2023, the PAC announced on X:

“Superstar tenor @AndreaBocelli will perform at fundraiser for US presidential hopeful @RobertKennedyJr with ‘well wisher’ guests including Martin Sheen, @MikeTyson and @dionnewarwick,” they wrote.

American Values PAC’s major donor is right-wing billionaire Timothy Mellon, who gave $15 million, leading experts to conclude that it is a Trojan Horse for Republican interests.

“I don’t know anything about this event,” Warwick wrote in her response on X. “I did not agree to it and I certainly won’t be there.”

A Warwick aide told the New York Post: “Ms. Warwick has NO association or affiliation whatsoever with Senator Robert F. Kennedy Jr. She will not nor will [she ever] attend any events or fundraisers in connection with [RFK Jr.]”

“I do not endorse RFK Jr, nor will I be attending his party,” Sheen declared on his Instagram story. “I wholeheartedly support @joebiden and the Democratic ticket for 2024.”

Tyson turned down the invitation, according to his representative.

“Mr. Tyson was invited to RFK’s bday celebration, which he cannot attend, not a fundraiser,” his representative confirmed.

“The Indian Wells fundraiser is a PAC event,” a representative from Kennedy’s campaign stated. “The campaign has no knowledge of who is attending and can’t confirm or deny anyone’s participation, either as entertainment or as a guest.”

Kennedy’s siblings have condemned his independent presidential run.

The decision of our brother Bobby to run as a third party candidate against Joe Biden is dangerous to our country… We denounce his candidacy and believe it to be perilous to our country,” Kennedy’s brother, Rory Kennedy, wrote in an Instagram post caption on October 9.

This caption accompanied a screenshot image showing Rory’s statement.

The bottom of the image showed that the statement was signed by Rory, Kerry Kennedy, Joseph P. Kennedy II and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend.

RFK Jr. has embraced numerous conspiracy theories, including recently blaming the 1963 assassination of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, on the CIA.

Kennedy declared that there was plenty of evidence suggesting that the CIA was involved in his uncle’s murder and cover-up. He even mentioned that the murder was related to his late family member refusing to send U.S. forces to Vietnam.

Last week, Kennedy secured a place on the Utah presidential ballot, the first state where he has done so.
