Rob Lowe, 59, is reminiscing about his golden days.

Lowe posted a throwback photo of himself from the 80s with actress Demi Moore and late Wham’s singer George Michael. The nostalgic shot shows Lowe standing between Moore and Michael backstage at Michael’s Faith tour, which ran between 1988 and 1989.

“When you say: ’80s,’ I say…” wrote in the caption, welcoming others to finish the sentence.

One notable comment came from his son, John Owen, 28, who he shares with his wife of 32 years, Sheryl Berkoff. While John Owen is following in his father’s footsteps as an actor, Lowe’s and Berkoff’s eldest, Matthew Edward, 29, is a businessman.

“You’re old,” the 28-year-old left in the comments.

Lowe and Moore acted in two films together in the 80s, St. Elmo’s Fire and About Last Night.

In 2019, Lowe told The View that Moore influenced his journey to sobriety. As a teenager, he was a heavy drinker and at 24, was involved in a sex scandal. Two years later, he decided to become sober.

“She [Moore] was a huge inspiration to me,” he said. “It was the 80s, we were all doing our thing. I just remember thinking, ‘If that girl can get sober, anybody can.'”

In May, the 59-year-old actor celebrated 33 years of sobriety. He also hosts his own podcast, Literally! With Rob Lowe.

Moore is now 60 years old and has been kept busy adjusting to her life as a new grandmother, and reunited with another St. Elmo’s co-star, Andrew McCarthy, back in May.

Michael died on Christmas morning in 2016 at the age of 53, with dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and a fatty liver reported to be the main cause of his death.
