Rapper Remy Ma‘s son, Jayson Scott, was charged with first-degree murder for the 2021 shooting of Darius Guillebeaux.

The 23-year-old was detained, along with Richard Swygert. He was also charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.

Swygert, 22, was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree endangerment and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Guillebeaux was shot and killed by two men in Queens, New York, in 2021. Cops said the two men opened fire at 148th St. and Rockaway Blvd. in South Jamaica, where the 47-year-old was struck multiple times in his head and chest.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Scott and Swygert were allegedly contracted to murder Guillebeaux.

Following the arrest, Remy told Page Six, “We stand by Jayson’s innocence and pray that the NYPD will conduct a complete and thorough investigation to reveal the truth.”

“This is undoubtedly a difficult time for my family and me,” she continued. “While we sincerely appreciate the love and support we have received from all of you, we kindly ask for privacy as our legal team works to prove Jayson’s innocence.”

“As his mother, I want to address this situation personally but have been strongly advised by his legal counsel not to say anything – as most people in similar situations are informed by their attorneys due to it being an active case,” she added.

Scott is not the first member of the family to face a run-in with the law. In 2019, his mother turned herself into police custody after allegedly assaulting Brittney Taylor during a benefit concert.
