Conservative influencer and Elon Musk’s most recent baby mama Ashley St. Clair, 26, has been forced to sell her Tesla after Musk cut her child support by more than 50%.

St. Clair announced last month on X that Musk was the father of her son, who was born in September 2024. She shared that Musk “slid into my DMs” in May 2023, and their son was conceived in early January 2024. Musk has not responded to St. Clair’s claims, bar commenting some cryptic emojis on other X posts regarding the announcement.

Last week, St Clair was seen outside her Manhattan apartment handing over the keys to her black Model S, which costs $100,000.

She told a reporter for The Daily Mail, “I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son’s child support.”

Asked if she felt that Musk was being “vindictive” toward her, St. Clair stated, “Well, that’s his modus operandi when women speak out…you can check the stock. I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”

In the last few weeks, anti-Tesla protests have erupted across the nation in response to Musk’s work with the Trump Administration and the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency). In regard to the anti-Tesla protests, St. Clair commented, “The markets are catching up to what I have known for a long time.”

Two weeks ago, attorneys for St. Clair reported to People that “Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child and reduced his financial support substantially and unilaterally. He did this after Ashley was forced to bring this matter to court when he refused to respond to her many private attempts to resolve this matter without publicity.”

St. Clair filed a paternity and custody lawsuit in New York on Feb. 21, in which she alleged that Musk had instructed her to keep the baby a secret and ghosted her and their son while they were negotiating child support – which had forced her to go public with the disagreement. On March 14, Musk’s lawyers successfully petitioned the New York judge to seal the case, keeping its details secret and limiting St. Clair’s freedom to speak.

St. Clair’s court documents describe Musk as cold and uninterested. They share that he had only met his son three times, spent a total of three and a half hours with them, and “has had no involvement in his care and upbringing.”
