Early Saturday morning, after a night at a Miami club, 46-year-old rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, was struck by another vehicle traveling at the intersection, causing extensive damage to his vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital but is in stable condition.

The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the crash involved three cars, including a 2016 Mercedes-Benz, a 2013 Nissan and a 2010 Toyota.

The identity of the driver has not yet been disclosed by law enforcement.

The rapper suffered from various neck injuries and possibly more injuries to other parts of his body.

From the crash site, he was quickly rushed to the hospital but is in stable condition.

The primary damage on his vehicle was on the front left driver’s side.

While in the ambulance, 2 Chainz took a video to post to his Instagram story. The footage shows the rapper on a stretcher and several frames of his destroyed black car that had been smashed into a concrete barrier in the background.

2 Chainz trip to Miami was for an Art Basel Miami Beach event to promote his and Lil Wayne‘s new album Welcome to Collegrove, with features from Usher, 21 Savage and Rick Ross.

In 2015, 2 Chainz was in the news when floated the idea of running for mayor of his hometown, College Park, Georgia.
