Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Maxim’ Cover Features Photoshopped Armpits, Sparks Outrage

Maxim may or may not have photoshopped Priyanka Chopra‘s armpits, drawing the ire of the actress’ fans on social media.

Chopra, named “The Hottest Woman in the World” by Maxim India, appears on the cover of the special double issue in a risqué black ensemble. With one hand, the actress appears to be pulling her hair back into a ponytail, exposing her underarm. Chopra proudly posted the cover to Instagram, writing, “My new cover! Thank you@maxim.india.”

Many of Chopra’s Instagram followers were less enthused about the cover, believing that Maxim took the liberty of smoothing out her armpit with the help of photoshop:

“I don’t think anything except the armpits have been photoshopped.”

“those armpits tho”

“The level of photoshop is unreal… @priyankachopra is beautiful no matter what and I dont think it needs to be unrealistically portrayed.”

“She lookss super hot ? but her armpits are overly Photoshoped then it should be..”

Chopra, who stars on ABC’s Quantico, has yet to comment on the controversy surrounding her latest cover.

Chopra will be hitting the big screen next year in the Baywatch movie.
