Priscilla Presley is recalling her last meeting with her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, before her death just months after her grandaughter Riley Keough forked over $1 million from her mom’s estate to settle a family dispute.

“I did know there was something not right,” Priscilla told The Hollywood Reporter of her last meeting with Lisa Marie at the Chateau Marmont in L.A. after the Golden Globes. “We had just gotten there, you go down all these stairs. I tripped a little bit because I had these high heels on, and she started laughing so hard. I started laughing. We hadn’t even had a drink yet. She goes, ‘Oh my God, Mom, you can’t even have a drink.’”

Lisa Marie was the only child of Priscilla and Elvis Presley and heir to his multimillion-dollar estate.

This comes weeks after Keough paid her grandmother over $1 million to settle a dispute over her late mother Lisa Marie‘s estate. As part of the settlement, Keough becomes the primary beneficiary of her mother’s estate and Priscilla will no longer be a trustee.

Riley will pay Priscilla a total of $400,000 in legal fees.

The dispute between Riley and Priscilla started after the death of Lisa Marie. Priscilla contested her daughter’s will. Riley was the sole heir to Lisa Marie, as her brother, Benjamin Keough, died in 2020

This caused some drama in the family, and it was reported that Riley and Priscilla were no longer on speaking terms.

Priscilla and Riley finally settled in February and the case was kept confidential except for one line that stated how much this would cost Riley.

Riley will pay Priscilla after she receives her mother’s life insurance money.

The court has been petitioned by Riley to accept the settlement and her attorney, Justin Gold, said that if the court does approve it, Riley is not going to charge for her services as a trustee.

Gold also added, “In settling the claims pending in Priscilla’s Petition, the parties are saving significant legal fees by avoiding litigation, and they are likewise avoiding the spectacle of intra-family litigation that would have been inimical to Lisa’s wishes and not in the best interests of the family.”

Now that the agreement has been signed and the change has been made, Riley is the only trustee for Lisa Marie’s estate, and her twin sisters, Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood, sub-trusts.

Priscilla is the trustee of the sub-trust that belongs to her son, Navarone Garibaldi. Garibaldi will get one-ninth of this trust. Harper, Finley and Riley will split the rest of it.

The Elvis brand is still lucrative, bringing in more than $100 million per year. The Presley’s share of the money is directed to Promenade Trust.
