Prince Harry and his longtime girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, have reportedly broken up.

The relationship between Harry, 29, and Bonas, 24, has apparently been rocky as of late, as the prince allegedly confided to his friends that he’d decided to call it quits.

"He found her too needy and it just wasn't working out," a source, purported to be close to the royal, told People.

Over the last several months, engagement rumors have been swirling regarding Prince William’s younger brother and his girlfriend. “Cressie is going to marry Harry,” one of Bonas’ friends told The Telegraph in October. “Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year.”

The two also appeared to have decided to be more public with their relationship as of late, as they were often spotted heading out together in London. In March, Bonas was seen attending an official event with Prince Harry, supporting him as he gave a speech at the WE Day charity event launch.

Prince Harry had been introduced to Bonas through the latter’s close friend, Princess Eugenie.
