Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy Welcome Their Rainbow Baby After 3 Miscarriages
What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than to welcome your own child into the world? Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy did just that when their second baby boy was born on Sunday.
Chmerkovskiy shared a sweet photo of himself holding their newborn son on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Father’s Day to me! #MadeinPeta.”
The news of the rainbow baby comes with many joyous congratulations, as the Dancing With The Stars couple has gone through three miscarriages and a failed embryo transfer. They had been trying for another baby shortly after their first child, Shai, was born in 2017.
“When Peta gives a Father’s Day gift she really gives a Father’s Day gift!.🥰🥰❤️ Welcome Baby Boy. Many Blessings,” a fan wrote.
“Pita can officially say ‘Here Babe I made this for you for Fathers Day’ ♥️,” another said.

Rumer Willis, who previously danced with Chmerkovkiy’s brother, Valentin on DWTS, and welcomed her own child in April this year, congratulated the proud father and commented, “Congratulations papa so happy for you guys.”
Murgatroyd announced in January this year that they were expecting baby number two and has documented her pregnancy journey ever since.
“This news has brought extraordinary bliss to our family and we have so much to be grateful for,” she shared in her January post.
Two days before the 36-year-old gave birth to their second child, Chmerkovskiy posted a video montage of their eldest growing up in the last six years, noting that he “finally gets [his] wish” for a sibling.
“Life is good. I feel like I can finally use the term “blessed” without cringing, as it really sums up this moment in time for our family,” he concluded in his post.
