Patricia Krentcil, the New Jersey mother made famous by her tanning habits, is now trying to make a name for herself with her rap skills.

Last Thursday, Krentcil, dressed in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired white halter dress, took to the recording studio to record her first (and likely last) rap single, "It's Tan Mom," according to RumorFix.com. The track opens with, "It's tan mom, b–ch," calling to mind pop diva Britney Spears' intro to hit "Gimme More."

Although Krentcil admits that she wasn't the main songwriter on the track, she was quick to make it known that she made the song her own. "I took all the lyrics and what was written in front of me and I scrambled it up and I put my own words into the song," the 44-year-old Nutley, N.J., resident told RumorFix.

"It's Tan Mom" is now available on iTunes for $.99 and is listed as 'explicit.'

In April of last year, Krentcil made the headlines when she was accused of bringing her five-year-old daughter with her into a tanning booth. The mother admitted to bringing her into the room, but denied putting her into the tanning bed. In February, an Essex County Grand Jury opted to forgo indicting her on a child endangerment charge.

Children under 14 are not permitted to use tanning salons, according to New Jersey law.
