Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles & NFL Star Jonathan Owens Get Married

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and NFL player Jonathan Owens confirmed they got married on Saturday, taking to social media to post a series of photos of their special day.

Biles, 26, who had been keeping her friends and followers updated throughout her bridal journey, sharing photos of Owens’ proposal to her, her bridal shower, as well as a selfie with their marriage license, posted a series of romantic photos of her courthouse wedding, writing “I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍.”

In the 2.3 million liked the Instagram post, the pair can be seen walking out of the courthouse, with the Houston Texans player, 27, holding his fist in the air and the blushing gold medallist holding her bouquet. The photos show a smiling Biles and Owens exchanging vows, sharing a romantic kiss, and walking down the stairs of the courthouse. Biles wore a beautiful tiered white gown while Owens opted for a tan suit and white shirt for their special day.

Biles posted a second series of wedding photos, which featured more urban snaps of the pair walking on a building’s rooftop and embracing one another in an elevator. “I never knew a love so deep🤍,” Biles captioned the post.

Sharing a similar series of photos onto his Instagram account, the NFL Player wrote “My person, forever ❤️💍,” before adding “#TheOwens and “ItsOfficial.”

The athletes met in March 2020, after connecting through the exclusive members-only dating and networking app, Raya. The pair later confirmed their relationship and became Instagram official after Biles shared a selfie of them the following August. Biles and Owens had been living together with their two French bulldogs in Spring, Texas, before Owens proposed to Biles in February of last year.
