The Walking Dead universe is expanding with new spinoff shows. Cast members Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan all reunited at AMC Upfronts to promote the shows. This comes just months after the zombie drama finished its eleventh and final season in November 2022.

While Fear the Walking Dead, the prequel to the main series, is set to air its eighth and final season in May, the first spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City will debut in June with Morgan and Cohan featuring. The show will follow Negan and Maggie as they travel to Manhattan to rescue Maggie’s son Hershel (Logan Kim).
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will premiere in the fall and star Reedus, while the Rick (Lincoln) and Michonne (Gurira) spinoff will come in 2024.
