Texts and an audio recording between actor Jonathan Majors and his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, have been released to the general public.

In the newly released recording, previously limited to the six-person jury in Majors’ domestic violence case, Jabbari sobs as Majors fumes, “How dare you come home drunk and disturb the peace of our house!”

While Jabbari repeatedly sniffles and apologizes, Majors says, “Grace [Jabbari] has to be in a certain mindset to support — Coretta Scott King, do you know who that is? That’s Martin Luther King’s wife. Michelle Obama, Barack Obama’s wife.”

Majors continues, “I’m a great man. A great man. I am doing great things, not just for me but for my culture and for the world. That is actually the position I’m in.”

He went on, “The woman that supports me — that I support — needs to be a great woman and make sacrifices the way that man is making for her and for them ultimately. Last night, two nights ago, you did not do that.”

In the released texts from September 2022, Majors discouraged Jabbari from seeking medical attention for a head injury.

He wrote, “I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital… They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something.”

Jabbari replied, “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go…I’m going to give it one more day, but I can’t sleep and I need some stronger painkillers. Why would I tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you?”

Majors then threatened to kill himself in the disturbing messages.

Jabbari said that Majors had forcefully grabbed his phone from her hand and struck her head against a car door after she attempted to read a message on his phone from another woman.

Majors has denied all accusations made against him, and his legal team asserts that Jabbari was the instigator in the incident.

Jabbari first took to the stand on December 5, the second day of Majors’ trial.  Majors refrained from eye contact with Jabbari while she testified and instead jotted down notes for his lawyer or flipped through the pages of his Bible while Jabbari described his “violent temper.”

As evidence continues to mount, there is conversation as to whether or not Marvel will replace or recast Majors’ character, Kang the Conqueror.
