Mimi Faust, a star on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, has some advice for those who choose to make a sex tape with their significant other.
Last year, Faust made a sex tape with her then-boyfriend Nikko Smith. Though the video was meant to remain private, it found its way into the hands of Vivid Entertainment founder Steve Hirsch. Instead of allowing the video to leak without their permission, Faust and Smith got on board. For those who don’t want to ever have to make that call, Faust recommends not letting the tape out your possession.
“If you ever decide to make a tape with your guy, with your girl, whomever. Keep the tape in your possession, please,” Faust said. “Lock it up. Keep it in your possession. Bottom line.”
Nearly a year after the sex tape was released, Faust and Smith are no longer even together. “There is [no relationship]. None. No. Nothing. Like you’re blocked on my phone and everything,” Faust told uInterview, adding of her friends, “They were right. They were right. I mean, I found out he was married, and so on and so forth. I was with him for two years, and you fail to tell me that you married?! Nice guy.”
In addition to Love and Hip Hop, Faust’s projects include a children’s clothing line, a few books and a home accessory line.
