Melania Trump’s Sister, Ines Knauss, Posted Two Old Photos Of Her & Her Mom Prior To Her Death

Ines Knauss, the older sister of former and future First Lady Melania Trump, went to Instagram to post two old photographs featuring her as a baby with their late mother, Amalija Knavs.

Both of these images are in black-and-white and were posted on the social media platform in late September 2023.

The first photograph, posted on Sept. 20, 2023, showed Amalija, who passed away at age 78 in January 2024, hugging her oldest child.

“W/ mom from 1968,” Knauss wrote in the caption.

“A GOOD mother’s love is like no other,” the Instagram user @calledtogarden declared in this post’s comments section.

“Such a beautiful picture,” another user known as @ns_312_ns_ stated in the comments.

The second image, posted on Sept. 24, 2023, showed Knauss with both of her parents as an infant.

Her father, Viktor Knavs, can be seen cradling her while her mother is seen holding her left hand.

“W/ #parents from 1968,” Melania’s sister stated in this post’s caption.

“Precious Family,” @katieelizii mentioned in the comments section.

The X account belonging to Knauss, who is currently living in a $2 million apartment in the Trump Park Avenue property, has been private for some time. However, journalist Ashley Feinberg accessed the account via a third party in July 2021.

The existence of the private Twitter account was noted earlier in Mary Jordan’s 2020 book The Art of Her Deal, which describes Melania’s journey toward becoming First Lady.

Feinberg inspired intrigue among political watchers after she mentioned in a newsletter in 2021 that Knauss’ likes on X revealed her true opinions towards her brother-in-law.

The journalist noted that Melania’s sister seemed to like many snarky tweets about Bruce Castor, Trump’s defense attorney, during the February 2021 impeachment trial. Additionally, Knauss liked a post which mocked the fact that Trump’s X account was suspended after his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
