Meghan McCain spoke out once again about the long-running daytime talk show, The View on the podcast, You’re Welcome, hosted by Michael Malice.

Malice, a Ukrainian author and anarchist, uses the podcast to “bring his unique perspective – and plenty of sick burns – as he discusses everything from… politics to culture,” according to the Spotify description.

McCain, a journalist, and daughter of John McCain, was a cohost on The View from 2017-2021.

She left after she had an on-air clash with cohost Joy Behar, which stemmed from Behar’s comments about not missing McCain while she was on maternity leave. McCain, who had recently given birth to her daughter, Liberty, as well as dealing with her father’s death at the time, thought it best for her and her family if she quit the show.

“I can’t go like, a week without something being said about me on the show,” McCain told Malice. She cited current hosts of The View, without naming any names, who have taken to podcasts and on-air the show to “bully” and insult her.

“I just didn’t know that when I signed to do this show that I would have to deal with like, these crazy old people just yelling about me all the time,” she continued, remarking that she does not think about them.

But McCain has talked about the show on numerous occasions while doing press for her new podcast.

“I’m just trying to live my life, host my own new podcast. I’ve got another project coming out in the future in January,” she said.
