Lindsay Lohan, 26, was involved in a car accident around 11:30 a.m. on Friday in Santa Monica, Calif., while on the way to filming for the Lifetime Elizabeth Taylor biopic, Liz & Dick, which is currently in production.
"She was driving northbound … and she collided with a large dump truck," Sgt. Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica Police told People. "There were no injuries to the people in the dump truck," he said.
Lewis said that there was no sign that Lohan was impaired when she crashed the black Porsche she was driving, reports The Huffington Post. "We're treating this as a regular accident," he said.
While Lohan was taken to the hospital "as a precaution," says a rep for Lohan, according to People. "She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident," though it was reported that Lohan suffered bruises and minor injuries.
"Gratefully it's not worse," said Lewis. "When you have a larger vehicle and a smaller vehicle involved in a collision, those can be devastating sometimes."
