Rapper Lil Mosey posted on Instagram for the first time since being charged with second-degree rape in April.

Mosey and his codefendant Francisco Prater were accused of having sex with a girl, “while she was incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless or mentally incapacitated.” The “Blueberry Faygo” artist pled not guilty to the charge and has an upcoming court date in July. He was also ordered to stay away from the victim in the case.

There was no mention of his legal difficulties in his most recent post on Instagram, the first since he was charged. The caption read, “Legend in the making, thanks to my fans & GOD 🙏🏼 love y’all 💟.”

The series of three photos featured Mosey’s various RIAA plaques propped around his car and home.

In addition to the second-degree rape charge, the artist had a warrant out for his arrest in April 2021. He allegedly skipped a mandatory court date but stated that he had forgotten about his appearance before the judge. His team was eventually able to post bail.

Mosey’s legal team also petitioned the judge to let him tour internationally and push the July 2021 court date to 2022. While the judge is allowing him to tour, the court date will remain the same.
