Gossip Girls star Leighton Meester’s hate/hate relationship with her mother, Constance, has reached an all-time low, with the actress filing a suit against her mom claiming that she spent the money intended to pay for Meester’s brother’s medical bills on plastic surgery, Botox and hair extensions for herself.

Meester, who was born in jail to a mother serving time for attempting to smuggle drugs into the U.S. from Jamaica, had been sending Constance $7500 a month for care of her younger brother, Lex, who has longstanding, undisclosed medical issues, as indicated by legal documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

The documents also detail a claim made by Meester that her mother insists there was an oral contract between the two stating that Meester would provide Constance, who refuses to work, $10,000 for life, and that she would file a suit of her own asking for millions of dollars if the payments were not made. Meester denies that any such agreement existed and is asking for a judge to rule that no contract exists between parties.

In her suit against her daughter, Constance claims that Leighton owes her for sacrificing her happiness to move to New York and then to Los Angeles to promote Leighton's acting career. She also claims that she has shelled out $230,000 in private school and acting classes for her daughter.

It's sad that their relationship has come to this…

This is unfortunate. I think her mother just got greedy and used the money inappropriately. Some mothers just aren't so nice =/
