Jeff Bezos’ Fiancé Lauren Sanchez Interrupted While Sunbathing On $500 Million Superyacht For Suprise Search By St. Barts Customs Agents

On New Year’s Eve, Jeff Bezos’ fiancé, Lauren Sanchez, was interrupted while sunbathing aboard his superyacht Koru when customs service conducted a surprise inspection.

The raid reportedly lasted three hours and was supposedly a routine customs inspection. Pictures obtained by tabloids show Sanchez smiling on the deck of the $500 million yacht while officers meticulously search the space. She wore a black sarong, a Versace bikini, and a large hat, complimented by flashy sunglasses.

Although Bezos is known to have been in the general area, he was not aboard Koru at the time of the inspection. Sanchez appears notably at ease in the photos, unperturbed by the presence of the officers’ methodic investigation. The stewardess was seen giving officers directions and later debriefing Sanchez.

Sanchez was accompanied on board by some friends, including her ex-boyfriend NFL player Tony Gonzalez. The two share a 23-year-old son Nikko, and Sanchez has reportedly referred to Gonzalez as one of her best friends. Also undisturbed by the presence of the officers, Gonzalez went for a dip in the water as the inspection was conducted.

The French-speaking Caribbean island Saint Barthélemy, commonly referred to as St. Barts, is known as a popular celebrity destination due to its luxury shopping and white sand beaches.

Bezos and Sanchez’s vacation in St. Barts follows the pair’s lavish getaway in Aspen, Colorado, where they were seen perusing the high-end shops and celebrating the holidays at the expensive restaurant Matsuhisa.

Bezos and Sanchez were engaged in May of last year after dating for five years. They celebrated their impending vows in August of that year with an extravagant, star-studded party aboard Koru.

Although a timeline for their wedding has not been revealed, Sanchez has said that she is extremely excited to get married and has started “thinking about the dress.”
