Ivana Trump, Ex-Wife Of Donald Trump, Dies At 73
Ivana Trump, a former wife of President Donald Trump who is the mother of Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump, passed away at her Manhattan home at the age of 73. Her cause of death was cardiac arrest.
Ivana grew up in former Czechoslovakia under Communist rule. She first relocated to Canada where she briefly modeled in Montreal, then moved to New York City when she met Donald Trump.
They were married from 1977 to 1992 and were major subjects of tabloids through the 80s. Ivana was instrumental in the development of several Trump Organization properties including the Fifth Avenue Trump Tower and the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
She held the position of vice president of interior design at the organization, and also managed the Plaza Hotel. After her contentious divorce from Trump, she pursued several business ventures including starting clothing and jewelry lines and launching a lifestyle magazine. She also developed a healthy writing career with a long-running advice column in the tabloid Globe, and a number of self-help and other nonfiction books to her name.
Trump split her time between residences in New York City, Miami and Saint-Tropez. She had an off-and-on relationship with Rossano Rubicondi, an Italian actor and model, who passed away in 2021. According to a statement released by her children, Trump is survived by ten grandchildren, her mother, and, of course, Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr. The ex president famously had children with three different women.
