Apple’s iPhone 8 is still an enigma. We covered an overview of the speculation and rumors regarding their next smartphone back in June, but new details have emerged that portray a clearer picture regarding its place in the world.

APPLE IPHONE PREVIEW #2

Commercial Times, a Chinese language newspaper focused on financial information, recently posted a story pertinent to Apple’s signature smartphone. Digitimes translated the information, explaining how the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is preparing to produce a sizable quantity of their 12nm FinFET chips. Production is slated to start in the fourth quarter of this year.

Moreover, reports from last week express that other hardware manufacturers involved in the creation of the upcoming iPhone have enjoyed considerable sales this past July, implying production of the eighth iPhone iteration is moving along. Notably, Largan Precision and Cathcer Technologies, which are receptively responsible for creating camera modules and cases, are among these corporations.

Likewise, General Interface Solution, Zhen Ding Technology Holding, Compaq Manufacturing, King Yuan Electronics and Flexium Interconnect have also gained in profits in July, corroborating the notion that the newest iPhone is looming.

Nevertheless, the iPhone 8 will eventually be supplanted by a successor, and Apple already seems to be discussing the iPhone 9. Per The Investor’s scoop, the ninth iPhone will likely come in two sizes: 5.28-inches and 6.46-inches.

Finally, the iPhone 8 is speculated to arrive with more than one model available at retail.
