Gwyneth Paltrow Spends Time With Lookalike Daughter Apple Martin In NYC

Gwyneth Paltrow reunited with her daughter Apple Martin this week in New York City.

The actress and Goop founder posted to her Instagram stories to document the “few great days in NY.” According to Paltrow’s Instagram stories, the pair caught up while embarking on an NYC food-tour.

The mother-daughter duo ate at Elio’s, an Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side. Gwyneth shared a selfie inside the restaurant with the caption “always perfect.”

Paltrow and Martin also endorsed the contemporary Asain restaurant 53 NYC in Midtown. Paltrow shared a snap of “very delish” $19 steamed dumplings.

They drank dirty martinis and ate wedge salads at Monkey Bar with Paltrow rating the experience “truly a 10/10.”

They even saved time for shopping, posing for a mirror selfie with shopping bags in hand at Bergdorf Goodman with the caption “Whoops.”

Paltrow has previously shared that her daughter’s departure from L.A. for college made for a “horrible” and “horrifying” farewell. Paltrow and her daughter haven’t been separated for long as Apple visited home during her October break last month. The actress has not revealed where her daughter studies.

The two have always been close. Paltrow posted a photo of Martin in May to celebrate her 18th birthday.

“I could not be more proud of the woman you are,” Paltrow wrote. “You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put in to words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way.”

Paltrow co-parents Apple and her 16-year-old son Moses with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
