Gwyneth Paltrow Celebrates Daughter Apple Martin’s 19th Birthday – And Mother’s Day

Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated two important events on Sunday: Mother’s Day and daughter Apple Martin’s 19th birthday.

Paltrow uploaded a birthday post on Instagram to celebrate her daughter with the caption reading, “Thank you for sharing your birthday this year with Mother’s Day, a fitting conjugation, a double celebration of you and what you have given to me – the GIFT of being your mom.”

“I love you so deeply and wholly, it defies articulation. To behold you as a 19-year-old woman fills my heart with almost unbearable love, pride and meaning! I can’t take it!” Paltrow wrote. 

She finished the caption with, “Thank you for making me brunch, I am making you dinner!! I love you so much, forever and ever, mama.”

In addition to the birthday post, Paltrow also posted an Instagram story to share another birthday greeting to Martin, “you are my life.” She followed it with another story sharing a picture of her two children with their grandmother, Blythe Danner,  greeting all mothers for Mother’s Day and “especially #blythedanner.”

Paltrow and Martin have always had a close mother-daughter relationship. They celebrated the start of 2023 together in string bikinis and when Martin went off to college last fall, Paltrow had a difficult time saying she was “sick to my stomach, bursting into tears.”

Paltrow shares her two kids, Apple and Moses Martin, with her ex-husband Chris Martin.
