‘Grand Theft Auto 6’ Recent Updates In A Nutshell
3/5
I love speeding, murdering and breaking the law in general as much as the next guy who plays video games, but no game gives you that freedom in such a realistic setting as Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto series. This being said, the highly anticipated GTA 6 is most likely coming out for PS4, Xbox One, and possibly PC in future near you.
Why am I saying “possibly” and “most likely?” Well, considering all of the fan made trailers out there, the truth at this moment makes this as good as anybody’s guess (or anybody’s fan made video that’s literally just a mistitled trailer for a game about 50 Cent, for that matter). However, there are two things that we do know; that is that the game is currently in development, and they claim to be working with 45 years’ worth of ideas.
All over the internet, people have been wondering about what the development of GTA 6 has consisted of thus far. Some sources have been fixated on the idea of the game taking place outside of the United States, considering they carried out a reference trip, while others speculate that the new game could take place in a variety of different locations, perhaps visiting previous areas in the series such as San Andreas and Vice City. There are even some who believe that the game will be produced for the Xbox 2, Playstation 5, and virtual reality systems that simply do not exist at the moment.
There’s much room for finite conjecture on what steps the series could take. Personally, I believe that the new GTA setting will be in space, vehicles will include Thomas the train engine, and the main character will be a cow. Point being, it’s silly to keep thinking about what the game is eventually going to be, video games are famous for claiming to diverge away from their original images, but then basically making more of the same. We can assume what the game will have by seeing what the game has had in the past, which is breaking the law in general, new missions, an online ranking system, and lots of satire and comedy. Both GTA 4 and 5 had hired comedians like Ricky Gervais and Bill Hader to voice characters and for the fake television commercials in the game, so it’s more than likely that more famous comedians will be hired for this one as well.
The next Grand Theft Auto might introduce entirely new concepts or might stay the same, yet either way this famous series’ new installment, with this much excitement from fans, is bound to give law abiding citizens the thrill they seek.
