Theresa Caputo, better known as the Long Island Medium, appeared on The View this week, and fans had a lot to say – about her enormous hairdo.

Since the show Long Island Medium premiered in 2011 and lasted 14 seasons, Caputo has been known for her striking blond locks. She joined hosts Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin at the Hot Topics table, and revealed some of her talents, including connecting with some of the host’s late family members.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to make fun of Caputo’s hairstyle.

One user stated, “Maybe a spirit should chat w[ith] her about her hair…#TheView”

Another viewer declared, “Oh boy – that hair has become a caricature of itself. #theview.”

On the show, she promoted her new TV show, Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits. Caputo’s return to television came out of the pandemic.

“I felt that my gift was needed more than ever. Someone might not have lost someone during Covid but we lost something during these years and what I do is so much more than communicating with people that have died,” she said.

“People, you know, haven’t spoken to maybe family members or lost their faith, they don’t know how to live, they don’t know how to laugh, and they’ll come for a reading and it’ll change their life to just live life in a more positive light,” she added.

When speaking about her live shows, Caputo stated, “They’re amazing. To go out on the stage in front of thousands of people and to be in a space and feel the energy and watch a perfect stranger heal in right front of your eyes… you watch it and you feel it and watching, everyone in the audience, strangers consoling each other and feeling for them, it is something truly special.”
