Elin Finally Speaks: I Didn't Attack Tiger

Tiger Woods’ newly ex-wife Elin Nordegren, 30, is finally breaking her silence about her 3-year marriage with the golf legend. “I’ve been through hell and back,” Nordegren told People. “I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the family I so badly wanted for my children. I know I will have to come to forgiveness and acceptance of what has happened for me to go on and be happy in the future.”

Nordegren says that she never suspected Woods of cheating and confronts the accusations that she physically abused Woods. “The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous," she said. "Tiger left the house that night, and after a while when he didn’t return, I got worried and decided to look for him. That’s when I found him in the car. I did everything I could to get him out of the locked car. To think anything else is absolutely wrong.”

Nordegren is currently getting her degree in psychology and focusing on her healing process. She and Woods have two children together, Sam, 3, and Charlie, 19 months.  –SAM VANDEVER
