Trump Reposts A Message Suggesting That Obama Could Be Indicted For ‘Murder’

Former President Donald Trump shared a message on his Truth Social platform originally posted by Mike Davis, a conservative pro-Trump attorney, saying that his predecessor, Barack Obama, could be indicted for murder.

“So Democrat judges in DC suddenly pretend President Trump doesn’t enjoy presidential immunity, like all of his predecessors for 250 years?” Davis wrote. “Does that mean the Trump 47 Justice Department can indict President Obama for his extrajudicial murder of a 16-year-old American citizen?”

The “murder” that he was referring to in this post was a drone strike in Yemen that killed Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, the 16-year-old son of the Al-Qaeda operative and American citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki, on October 14, 2011. This drone strike was approved by Obama during his first term.

His father died in Yemen on September 30, 2011, due to U.S. drone and jet attacks on his convoy and jet, during which he was 75 miles east of Sanaa between Al Jawf and Marib.

Davis was concerned that Trump would have to face similar consequences.

On January 29, 2017, Alwaki’s 8-year-old daughter, had been killed in a joint American-UAE raid against Al-Qaeda. The counterterrorism operation had been approved by Trump.

This week, Trump announced that he would not testify in the $250 million fraud trial against his company. He also declared that he would “be a dictator” for “one day,” if he returns to the White House.
