Colin Firth’s Wife, Livia Giuggioli, Admits To Having An Affair With Alleged Stalker Marco Brancaccia

Livia Giuggioli, Italian movie producer and director, who is married to actor Colin Firth, has admitted to having an affair with the man she accused of stalking her and her husband.

The couple have been together since 1997 and have two children together, Luca and Matteo. They also have two homes, one in London and another in Umbria, Italy.

In their two decades of being together, they spent a short period of time separated. While they were apart, Giuggioli started an affair with journalist and long time friend, Marco Brancaccia. However, according to a statement, the journalist “carried out a frightening campaign of harassment over several months, much of which is documented.”

In the same statement, it confirmed that they two were romantically involved for the time being. “For obvious reasons, the Firths have never had any desire to make this matter public. A few years ago Colin and Livia privately made the decision to separate. During that time Livia briefly became involved with former friend Mr. Brancaccia. The Firths have since reunited. ”

As news about the affair became more public and the stalking allegations become more severe, Brancaccia has also shared his own statement in regards to the situation stating that Giuggioli is fabricating the stalking claim. According Brancaccia, him and Giuggioli were having an affair from 2015-2016 and never stalked the couple.

“We were romantically involved, she wanted to leave Colin for me,” he stated in a statement to The Times. “In a year she sent me hundreds of messages of love, photos and videos, even a diary.”

He also addresses her stalking allegations by stating, “My ‘stalking’ consisted of two messages via WhatsApp after she ended our relationship in June 2016, and an email. I wrote an email to Colin about my relationship with Livia, which I now regret sending, and she filed a complaint against me for stalking out of fear that I could go public with what she had revealed to me about her marriage and work.”

Brancaccia currently works for the ANSA news agency in Italy. He is now currently a subject of interest to the Italian police due to the allegations made against him.

The couple has not spoken out about the situation and are trying to keep it to keep it out of the public’s attention.
