Chet Hanks Posts Rare Photo With Dad Tom Hanks After Saying He ‘Didn’t Have A Male Role Model’ Growing Up

While celebrating the holidays together, Chet Hanks decided to share a moment with his father, Tom Hanks, on Instagram. The photo shows Chet and Tom beside each other, taking a rare picture together.

“Gang,” the caption read. 

Both Tom and Chet looked bundled up, wearing dark jackets. Tom was sporting a cap, while Chet was wearing a baseball cap.

The photo is the first time Tom has shown up in his son’s Instagram feed. Chet said recently that he “didn’t have a male role model growing up.”

Tom isn’t the only family member getting love from Chet on Instagram. In May, he posted a picture of himself and his mom, Rita Wilson.

“The biggest G I know @ritawilson love you mom,” the caption read.

Chet is one of two kids Tom has with Wilson and one of four he has in total.

Chet, who has a troubled history, was recently described as “emotionally disturbed” by comedian Eric Andre after he appeared on his show.
