A British supporter of President Donald Trump was arrested after stabbing the now-infamous Trump Baby Blimp as it was rising in Parliament Square outside the House of Commons.
The woman, identified as Amy Dalla Mura, filmed herself stabbing the blimp which depicts a cartoonish version of Trump as a baby. After doing the deed, she walked toward the crowd saying, “I think Donald Trump’s balloon is not very well, I think it’s going down rapidly for a reason. It’s going down baby.”
She redirected the focus of the camera to herself, saying, “I’m bleeding quite badly, though,” before raising her arm to show viewers her bloodied hands.

While being searched by police, she addressed Americans watching her video. “Help me, these people are assaulting [me],” she said. Although she was initially arrested for having a pointed/ bladed object in her possession, further investigation by law enforcers found reason and grounds to charge her with criminal damage, which bears a larger punishment.
“A woman punctured the mini Trump baby replica with a sharp object,” a spokesperson for Trump Baby U.K. told The Independent. “It’s not surprising that the far right would want to meet freedom of expression with violence.”
Meanwhile, in another area of Parliament Square, a pro-Trump supporter had a milkshake thrown at him during the rallies against the U.S. president’s controversial state visit to the U.K.
Trump Baby UK has recently been receiving many donations on behalf of people who wish to see more of the Baby Trump blimp in London – and around the world.
