Azealia Banks Arrested In ‘Boob-Biting’ Incident In NYC

Rapper Azealia Banks has found herself back in trouble with the law after getting arrested Wednesday night following an incident in which she allegedly bit a security guard.

Banks, 24, hit up Manhattan hotspot Up&Down with a friend who was an invited guest to club co-owner Ronnie Madra‘s birthday party. Missing a stamp, Banks tried to get in on her relative celebrity, but failed to be recognized by the security guards. When they insisted that she get a stamp, she reportedly lost her temper, according to the New York Post. She was “screaming at the top of her lungs, cursing” as well as allegedly using racial slurs.

The outburst apparently led the club owner to let her in, however, “once she was 15 feet inside, she starts to curse at the guards again, explaining who she was, that she’s on Rihanna’s album.”

Security once again approached Banks, leading her to “spit in the [female bouncer’s] face,” an eyewitness said. Banks’ reaction also included punching the guard and “biting her in the boob,” a source told PageSix. The source elaborated, “she bites the [female guard] in the breast, almost breaking her shirt . . . as they took her out.” The bite “caused swelling and redness,” a police source told the outlet.

Banks was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. The rapper has yet to comment on her latest brush with law enforcement.
