Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has backed out of appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night for unknown reasons.

Axl Rose was on the guest list to have a sit down chat with Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday, but his name no longer appears there. While no official reason has been given for the change of plans, the fact remains that he won’t be making the appearance.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately Axl is no longer scheduled to be on Kimmel tomorrow,” a show source told the Los Angeles Times, declining to go into any further detail on the matter.

Late last month, a Guns N’ Roses reunion seemed to be a certainty after it was reported that Axl Rose and Slash were reuniting to headline at Coachella 2016 by Billboard magazine. The music mag also reported that the once-feuding duo were in negotiations with promoters for a 25-stadium tour for this coming summer.

At first, Axl Rose tried to shut down the reports, but eventually admitted that at least the part about Coachella was true.

Guns N’ Roses fans expected that Axl Rose was going to announce the reunion tour on Kimmel, but it looks like they’ll have to wait a bit longer for that much-anticipated confirmation.
