Tuesday fans buzzed on social media questioning if they were getting “Punk’d”  when actor and professional prankster Ashton Kutcher tweeted a photo of himself with what he claimed to be his personal phone number.

“I miss having a real connection with real people. My community. From now on you can just text me. I won’t be able to respond to everyone but at least we can be real w/ each other & I can share the unedited latest & greatest in my world, Kutcher explained, followed by his phone number with the caption “Yes this is my #” he tweeted.

Apparently the bombardment of texts was too much for The Ranch actor deleting the tweet a mere few hours later. However, he reassured fans, “I’ll repost soon, sms is a fragile beast” Kutcher tweeted.

Forty-year-old Kutcher, did not let influx of text messages ruin his evening and attended a date night with 35 year old wife, Mila Kunis. The couple sat court side at the Staples center while children Wyatt Isabelle, 4, and Dimitri Portwood, 2 stayed home for the night.

The couple came dressed to impress and pull of the casual, but fashionable look well. Kutcher attended the game in a black V-neck and jeans. He wore a light-orange Dodgers cap and dressed up the look with a tweed jacket. Kunis preferred to keep in simple in black skinny jeans, and grey top with frilled sleeves.

The couple smiled for the camera and captured their own selfie that Kutcher posted to his Twitter account then ended up deleting later. A fan account captured and reposted the couple’s court side selfie.
