Ashton Kutcher engaged in an alleged shoving match with a security guard at the Stagecoach country music festival in California over the weekend, reported TMZ.

Kutcher was watching performances by Nick 13 and Dwight Yoakam from the VIP section of the Indio, Calif., country music festival when a female fan went to introduce herself to the Two and a Half Men star. When Kutcher went to shake the woman's hand, security reportedly stepped in and shoved both of them. Kutcher then allegedly went back at the over-zealous guard and the two began violently pushing one another.

Eventually Kutcher's friends were able to restrain him. The irate security guard then demanded that the actor be removed from the festival premises. Instead of being forcefully ejected, Kutcher, who wasn't the agressor in the scuffle according to TMZ's eyewittnesses, opted to leave the concert of his own will.

Local authorities were unaware of the concert melee before the media began reporting on it. “The first I heard about it was from four local television stations that found out from TMZ,” Indio police spokesman Benjamin Guitron told City News Service. “However, if anyone wants to make a police report about this incident we will definitely follow up and investigate it.”

Neither the actor nor his representation has commented on the incident.
