Andrew Garfield was photographed in full-costume on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in Brooklyn on Sunday.

Garfield was captured filming a scene featuring Spider-Man’s heroics, as he had his back pressed up against a bus that looked to be in danger of tipping over. On Saturday, the action star was spotted filming stunts with Paul Giamatti. Giamatti plays villain Aleksei ‘Rhino’ Sytesevich in the Spider-Man sequel.

Last week, it was announced that Garfield will take the lead role in Martin Scorsese’s upcoming project, Silence. The film, which will also star Ken Watanabe, is based off of Shusaku Endo’s 1966 novel that tells the story of a 17th century Portuguese Jesuit’s missionary to Japan.

Garfield, 29, is currently in a relationship with his The Amazing Spider-Man costar Emma Stone, who plays Gwen Stacy in the Marvel franchise.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released May 2, 2014.
