Despite a bank moving to collect on her $220,000 debt, Tori Spelling chose to focus her attention on a different topic—her decision to get veneers after allowing her teeth to “go to s—-” in her 40s.

On Tuesday, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star invited celebrity dentist Dr. Kevin Sands on her podcast, misSPELLING.

“I couldn’t smile anymore. I didn’t smile,” the 51-year-old shared. “I didn’t have a cavity ’til I was 40. That was all downhill from there.”

Sands, who played a role in JoJo Siwa‘s recent $50,000 smile makeover, explained how the actress’ teeth had become discolored and chipped.

“[She] didn’t look like the Tori I used to know,” he said.

Sands said he “reshaped” each of Spelling’s teeth and handcrafted each tooth to “rebuild” her smile from more than two decades ago.

“Now you have a full smile. They’re white, gorgeous, sexy,” he said to Spelling. “Look at you. You look ten years younger.”

Spelling said she has “never been happier” since the cosmetic surgery.

“I smile now,” she said. “There’s a whole new me. People underestimate me.”

The reality star has made headlines recently amid her divorce from Dean McDermott and their struggles to pay off a more than $220,000 loan from City National Bank, which filed papers last week to collect on the debt.

She recently confessed that her daughter, Stella, had been bullied in school after tabloids reported that the family had moved to RV Park last year.
