Aaron Hernandez‘s older brother, Dennis John ‘D.J’ Hernandez, was arrested last week for alleged plans to commit school shootings at Brown University and the University of Connecticut.

An arrest warrant posted by the Bristol Police Department in Connecticut states that Dennis John’s ex-girlfriend called them because she was “concerned that Dennis may try to harm someone.”

She reportedly received messages from Dennis John, which said, “We’re taking lives if s— isn’t paid up. It’s been years in planning just taking notes, names and locations. They talked their way into this and it’s almost point game.”

She then went on to say that he was “extremely sick” and that he had “deteriorating” mental health before explaining to the police that Dennis John had gone to the two New England colleges to “map” them out. She also added that Dennis John reportedly said that “he had a bullet for everyone.”

Although Dennis John’s ex-girlfriend has reported him to authorities, she expressed that she did not want him arrested, but instead wanted him to get the necessary help for his mental health.

He also reportedly posted multiple statements on social media that were threatening those who have “wronged him.”

One post included the line, “Will I kill? Absolutely, I’ve warned my enemies so pay up front.” In another post, he also threatened the safety of his ex-girlfriend who reported him and said that he was “coming for her and her family.”

In a reported text to the ex-girlfriend, which was a screenshot of Dennis John’s text to a family member, he said:

“UConn program is going to pay unless I have a package deal and I get my estate and every single thing I have worked for. The coaches and university officials want to be selfish and selective about s—, well I am too. Very. They are going to get surprised. Love you, I would recommend remaining away from there because when I go I’m taking down everything and don’t give a f— who gets caught in the crossfire. I’ve died for [years] now and now it’s other people’s turn. I’m prepared to give my life so if don’t get to see you on the outside know I love you always. Not all shootings are bad I’m realizing. Some are necessary for change to happen.”

IN MEMORIAM 2022: 100 GREAT CELEBRITIES WHO DIED IN 2022

This is the fourth time Dennis John has been arrested this year. The police warrant also states that he has a “history of running from police on foot.” After he was arrested following the report, Dennis John was taken to the hospital where he was allegedly said he still “planning to kill,” including those who profited off of Aaron, and more specifically, ESPN.

Aaron died by suicide in 2017, five days after he was found guilty of the murder of Odin Lloyd.

Dennis John is now being held on a $250,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court next week.
