Rachel Bilson's foray into shoe design is here! The CW star who rose to fame after her stint as Summer Roberts on Fox's The O.C. is expanding her brand Edie Rose to a new e-commerce site, ShoeMint.com. She'll be collaborating with celebrity stylist Nicole Chavez and shoe giant Steve Madden to produce a line of luxury, affordable footwear.

ShoeMint.com will follow the model of other members-only shopping communities where consumers must create a profile, take a style quiz and pay a low monthly fee to receive a shoe that matches their own unique taste. Comparable competitors include Kimora Lee-Simmons' JustFab.com and the Kim Kardashian-endorsed ShoeDazzle.com. "More and more, people are shopping for shoes online," Bilson, 30, said. "And with BeachMint, I have the opportunity to design not just the shoes, but the full experience for our customers, which feels more personal and rewarding for me."

Chavez, who has styled clients like Katherine Heigl and Amy Smart, said the project will give the team a chance to "create a collection [they] love for every woman's style." Madden added that he's excited to work with Bilson, whom he dubs a modern-day style icon. "Rachel is this generation's Jane Birkin. She has that innate, effortless style," Madden said in a statement. "But unlike the bag named after Jane, there won't be a six month wait for the Bilson!"

The dot-com store is part of social e-commerce conglomerate BeachMint, which has already successfully launched members-only sites JewelMint, BeautyMint and StyleMint with celebrity collaborators Kate Bosworth, Jessica Simpson and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. While ShoeMint will be fully running this holiday season, shoe lovers can sign up for early access now.
