In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, voice actor Eric Bauza looked back on his favorite moments working on Rick and Morty. Bauza has appeared in multiple episodes of the Adult Swim animation series, starting with a small role in the pilot episode, which was released in 2013. “OK so, I was in the pilot for Rick And Morty,” he told uInterview founder Erik Meers. “The very, very first episode. And I was the big bug, one of the xenomorph bugs that’s at, he’s like the customs agent, and he goes, ‘Uh, alright you two, come over here,’ – and of course he’s talking about Rick and Morty – he’s like, ‘We want to put you through the new machine.’ And [Rick’s] like, ‘Uh what new machine,’ and he’s like, ‘Uh the new machine that detects stuff all the way up your butt.’ So lines like that crack me up.” Bauza also shared, “More recently, we had this crazy, crazy turn of events called the LA wildfires, and my son’s school was closed for several days… And of course, the one day I have to bring my son to work with me is the one day I have a Rick and Morty session. And of course – I have to swear, the most swearing I’ve ever done in my life. And of course, I’m like fully prepared, I’m like ‘Bring your iPad! But more important, bring your headphones so you don’t hear anything I’m saying.'” Bauza is currently voicing Daffy Duck in the new movie, he Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.
