Former President Donald Trump is displeased with Forbes after the magazine dropped him from its list of the 400 richest Americans for the second time in three years.

In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump asserted that the publication “lost most of its relevance long ago.”

“Took me off their Fake Forbes 400 list, just by a ‘whisker,’ even though they know that I should be high up on that now very dated and discredited ‘antique,'” he said. “For years Forbes has attacked me with really dumb writers assigned to hit me hard, and I am now up 60 Points on the Republicans, and beating Crooked Joe by a lot.”

According to the criteria set out by Forbes, Trump’s estimated $2.6 billion fortune came about $300 million short of the threshold for the list.

The news comes amid Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York, where a lawsuit filed by state Attorney General Letitia James (D) alleges that Trump inflated the value of his properties to defraud business partners. Last month, a judge ruled that Trump had committed fraud, and the trial has now moved on to the penalty phase, where James is seeking $250 million in restitution.

On Friday, Trump’s former controller testified that Eric Trump ordered him to inflate the values of properties on the company’s statement of financial condition.
