Ashley Graham has always been about body positivity but her new social media post has left some fans feeling less positive about her.

The former America’s Next Top Model judge showcased her toned figure in a new Instagram post, after recently giving birth to her twin sons, Malachi and Roman, 17 months.

During her visit to Cannes, France, Graham posted a series of photos and videos of herself in black lingerie, layered with a sequined see-through dress. She captioned the post, “je suis arrivée 🖤.”

While Graham looked beautiful in her Prada dress, her body drew more attention. She’s always been known for her voluptuous curves, but recently, it looks like the model has lost more than a few pounds, and has caused some fans to question her status as a plus-sized model. 

Some fans are upset about her weight loss and commented they “no longer consider her plus size” and want “more representation for plus size women.”

Other fans expressed their disappointment and said that “it’s a shame when they do that [lose weight] after making out big size is alright,” and blamed the “horrible fame” for the model’s current physique. 

Fortunately, many of Graham’s fans were glad for the Sports Illustrated former cover girl and came to her defense.

“She is stunning, and people need to grow up! What does it matter if she is smaller or larger,” one fan commented. 

“She’s still a plus-size model,” another said. “She looks good, period, and always has been.”

“She is not beholden to anyone to maintain a single size for her whole life,” a third person said. “Let her live at whatever size she happens to be on a given day.”

In a recent Instagram story, Graham shared a photo of herself pulling up her shirt as she showed off a slimmer mid-section with the caption “…progress 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼”
