Parents Ryan Phillippe & Reese Witherspoon Celebrate Son Deacon’s New Album

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe celebrated their son, Deacon, over the weekend with a party for the release of his new album, A New Earth.

Proud dad Phillipe took to Instagram to urge his followers to stream his son’s new album, released on Friday. Posting a series of photos from the album release party, Phillipe wrote “Awesome night w family & friends celebrating the release of, “A New Earth” by @deaconphillippe !! The first photo shows the father-son duo posing for the photo with big smiles. Phillippe opted for a plain white tee with a red, black and white sweater while Deacon wore a black shirt and white checkered jacket. The Instagram post also featured photos of his daughter, Ava, whom he shares with Witherspoon, who was also featured in Phillipe’s tribute to Deacon.

Witherspoon wore a red checkered red tweed jack and blue jeans while Ava, 23, wore a green tie-top and black pants. Witherspoon also shared some love for her son’s work by posting a screenshot to her Instagram Story, which showed Deacon’s new song “Virus” (featuring Chain Arcade) featured on Spotify’s “New Pop Picks.” “Let’s goooo @deaconphillippe,” the Legally Blonde actress wrote.

Deacon, 19, is currently attending New York University, where he is studying music at Steinhardt. He also took to Instagram to share photos of the party, captioning the post “careful where you step we on a mission♠️❤️whatta night.” While his father told Entertainment Tonight that “his focus is primarily music,” Deacon also made his first acting appearance in Netflix’s  Never Have I Ever.
