Nicola Peltz Reportedly Furious That Victoria Beckham ‘Ruined’ Her Wedding With ‘Jaw-Dropping Moment’

When Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and Nicola Peltz, 30, got married in 2022, they had one specific moment in mind. Marc Anthony had offered to perform at their wedding “as a gift,” which caused the couple to plan out a special slow dance.

Before their song began, Anthony asked Brooklyn to come onto the stage and then announced, “The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up… Victoria Beckham!” which stunned all in attendance. One source recounted to the Daily Mail, “It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop.”

Many in attendance had believed this moment ruined Peltz’s special moment, but were confused as to the possible motives behind it. After Brooklyn and his mother took the stage, they began slow dancing with one another, which allegedly shocked the guests even more. Another source claimed everyone then saw “Nicola running from the room crying” and “Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn’t understand was why.”

Another source in attendance, Nicola and Brooklyn, had their formal first dance early in the evening, and she also had the traditional first dance with her father. The couple had their first dance to “Only Fools Rush In.” In addition, another source recounted that Anthony’s performance didn’t occur until later in the wedding, “when everyone was casual,” which may have been the reason things unfolded the way they did.

The war between Brooklyn and his family has become more public every day.

Brooklyn and Peltz did not attend David Beckham’s early 50th birthday celebration in March despite being invited. The couple has also reportedly found support from Peltz’s family. In 2024, she stated, “I go to Florida any chance I get, and we stay at my parents’ house. It honestly makes me so happy to wake up and have my siblings around… When we’re all together, it’s so fun.”
