Jake Paul Roasts UFC Boss Dana White, Calls Him ‘Biggest Obstacle To McGregor Fight
YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is on the warpath trying to get a boxing match set up between himself and Conor McGregor and recently made some incendiary comments about UFC President Dana White on an interview of In Depth with Graham Bensigner.
Paul defeated Tyron Woodley this weekend by a KO.
Paul explained to Bensinger that White is blocking the fight from happening because McGregor needs to have his MMA contract lifted to fight in a boxing match. Paul added, “I think it will happen and if Conor is going to just continue to lose fights – he’s 1-4 in the past five years – then there’s not much Dana will be able to do with him anyway. So cash him out one more time.”
Paul insists that McGregor’s manager is close friends with his team and that they “talk constantly about making it happen…” When asked about the feud with White directly, Paul called him a “control freak.”
White has criticized Paul in the past by implying that his fight with Ben Askren, in which Paul won 3-0, was rigged, telling ESPN, “I don’t know if I believe the Ben Askren thing. I have a hard time wrapping my head around that.”
White also claimed that the pay-per-view numbers Paul boasted about after the Askren fight were “full of s–t.”
